You are invited to meet the Climate Leadership Program’s (CLP) Edmonton participants and enjoy a casual afternoon of networking. We’ll be at the Rocky Mountain Icehouse from 2-4 pm to introduce the 2018 CLP participants to the climate communities in Treaty 6, the Metis Nation and Edmonton.
The afternoon will be a fast paced mix of activities, socializing and storytelling. Stephani Carter (EcoAmmo Sustainable Consulting / Mosaic Centre), and Robyn Webb (City of Edmonton, Energy Transition Unit) will be sharing stories of their organizations’ climate action, along with a few the stories of some grads from CLP 1. We’ll be creating a skills and interests map to share with everyone to support local collaboration and connections. You’ll also have the opportunity to meet some of the Next Up staff who work on our programs in Calgary, Edmonton and the province-wide CLP.
Please invite your friends, collaborators and co-conspirators to come along, for good snacks, interesting conversations and stronger relationships with old and new climate allies.
The event is free, and all who register are welcome to participate.
