Hey Permaculture Calgary Guild Members!
The date for our Annual General Meeting has been set – we hope to see you there! There are positions open on the Board, and we invite you to consider running & joining a fun organization that is progressing positive change in this city.
On top of that – this years’ AGM is going to get a little fermented 😉
Following the AGM, Nichole Philipchuck & Rob Avis are going to briefly talk about making brines, krauts, sour ferments as well as the benefits to health as well as look at the microbial life in a batch of kraut, projected by a microscope. As as in the Korean Kim Chi tradition we are also asking people to bring their own home brines to mix together in a large vat. Folks will be able to take a jar home of this high diversity (and high pro-biotic!) blend for their own kitchens. Remember to BYOJ!
And this is also a potluck! So don’t forget your potluck contribution, plates & utensils.
