SUMMARY:Southern Alberta Permaculture Convergence 2017
DESCRIPTION:We will gather in Turner Valley again this summer to learn about permaculture through hands-on workshops\, tours of local permaculture sites\, and shared meals featuring delicious local food.  \nWe will have three tours on Friday\, a family pool party and potluck\, and a keynote speaker on Friday evening. \nSaturday will be chock full of workshops during the day. We will have our very own Market from 4:30-6:30\, where paid attendees can showcase their businesses and sell products of interest to Permies. There will be a wonderful feast and talent show in the evening.  \nSunday morning we will have more workshops and we will all participate in a World Cafe discussion. A closing ceremony will finish up the weekend before we disperse to our own homes where we will continue our permaculture journey with renewed enthusiasm! \nCamping is available (for an extra charge) right next to the Convergence site at Hell’s Half Acre Campground. The immediate area also boasts a public outdoor swimming pool\, splash park and Library. Turner Valley is just a 20 minute drive to the mountains. Bring the whole family! \nChildcare is available during workshops for an extra charge.  \nFees: $125 per adult (16 years old and up) includes all workshops and tours\, breakfast on Saturday and Sunday\, lunch on Sunday and supper on Saturday.  \nMeals only (for family members not attending workshops): $50 per adult; $25 per child. \nChildcare and accommodations extra. \n
