SUMMARY:A Gathering of Brines: Annual General Meeting & April Potluck
DESCRIPTION:Hey Permaculture Calgary Guild Members! \nThe date for our Annual General Meeting has been set – we hope to see you there! There are positions open on the Board\, and we invite you to consider running & joining a fun organization that is progressing positive change in this city. \nOn top of that – this years’ AGM is going to get a little fermented 😉 \nFollowing the AGM\, Nichole Philipchuck & Rob Avis are going to briefly talk about making brines\, krauts\, sour ferments as well as the benefits to health as well as look at the microbial life in a batch of kraut\, projected by a microscope. As as in the Korean Kim Chi tradition we are also asking people to bring their own home brines to mix together in a large vat. Folks will be able to take a jar home of this high diversity (and high pro-biotic!) blend for their own kitchens. Remember to BYOJ! \nAnd this is also a potluck!
