Join us for an inspiring evening of film, food, and meaningful conversation as we explore what it means to live in harmony with nature.
About the Film: Living the Change (2018, 86 mins) is a beautifully crafted documentary that showcases real people pioneering sustainable and regenerative ways of living in their own communities. From forest gardens to community-supported agriculture, from zero waste living to alternative economies, this film offers practical, hopeful examples of the world we’re building together—right here, right now.
Event Flow:
- 5:30 – 6:00 PM – Doors open! Arrive early to mingle, share potluck movie snacks, and connect with fellow community members
- 6:00 – 7:20 PM – Film screening
- 7:20 – 7:30 PM – Short break
- 7:30 – 8:30 PM – Guided conversation where we’ll share our takeaways from the film and highlight local projects already creating positive change in Calgary
Bring & Share: We’re creating community in true potluck spirit! Please bring your favorite movie snacks to share with others.
Accessibility: The venue has reduced mobility access. Families and children are welcome.
Location: Renfrew Community Association – 811 Radford Road NE, Calgary
Tickets: Pay-what-you-can admission with a suggested donation of $15 to help cover venue and film licensing costs. While we encourage advance registration, tickets will also be available at the door (cash donations accepted).
