WHEN & WHERE:

Workshops from 1 pm to 5pm on Saturday January 30th, 2016 at the Hillhurst Sunnyside Community Association (1320 5 Avenue Northwest). Followed by an evening social at a nearby pub (the Reagle Beagle Neighbourhood Pub).

Doors open at noon. Come early to socialize!

Eight workshops in total, two streams (adult-oriented and family-friendly topics) – speakers listed below.

Topics such as permaculture, gardening, composting, raising micro-livestock, urban farming, sustainability, water harvesting, food preservation and more!

Workshops: $20 (members), $30 (non-members)

There will also be door prizes for members in attendance.

Drop-in / At-the-door pricing: Add $5 to the above prices. Only available if we are not sold out.

Children are free (but please RSVP your child’s ticket).

And don’t forget your plaid, lumberjack, onesie, toque, suspenders and overall cabin fever attire!

REMEMBER TO BRING:

Bring your own mug and water bottle (we will be serving complimentary coffee and tea).

Bring your own lunch & snacks. We will have cookies for sale, but no lunch concesssion.

Feel free to bring business cards, promotional pamphlets or other for your business – we will have a networking table set up and leave some time at the end for members to make announcements.

EVENING SOCIAL

Following the workshops, we will be all headed to the nearby Reagle Beagle Neighbourhood Pub for dinner, drinks & socializing!
